Realistic expectations. No promises of instant authority.
01
Business foundation
State formation comes first when needed. Processing varies by state and filing method; we confirm the state estimate before filing.
02
EIN & USDOT registration
Eligible IRS online EIN applications can receive an EIN immediately after approval. State formation should be complete first. USDOT issuance depends on a complete, accepted registration and any identity review; no fixed delivery date is promised.
03
MC application & activation
FMCSA lists about 20–25 business days for new authority applications; additional review can take 8 weeks or longer. A docket number is not permission to operate. Required insurance and BOC-3 filings must be accepted before activation.
04
Ready for the road
We identify applicable UCR, state permits, IRP/IFTA and safety requirements. New entrants are generally monitored for 18 months; property-carrier safety audits are normally within 12 months of starting operations.
Do not haul regulated freight until your authority, insurance and all applicable operating requirements are in place. FMCSA approval and state processing are outside our control.
Support beyond your first filing.

Grounded in official guidance.
Agency timing is an estimate, not a delivery guarantee. Guidance reviewed September 16, 2026. EINs are issued by the IRS; business entities and many permits are state matters, not FMCSA filings.
