Dispatch and carrier agreement

By submitting this setup packet, the carrier requests onboarding review with Best Truck Dispatch and acknowledges the dispatch relationship described below. This language is provided for operational onboarding and should be reviewed by the carrier before signing.

1. Parties and authority

The carrier identified in this setup packet authorizes Best Truck Dispatch to provide dispatch support, including load search, broker communication, rate discussion, appointment coordination, document follow-up, and related administrative support. Carrier represents that it is properly authorized to operate and that the signer has authority to submit this packet on behalf of the carrier.

2. Carrier control and no forced dispatch

Carrier remains responsible for accepting or rejecting loads. Best Truck Dispatch may recommend, negotiate, or coordinate freight opportunities, but carrier keeps final control over load acceptance, routes, equipment, driver decisions, and safety decisions.

3. Compliance, authority, and insurance

Carrier is responsible for maintaining active operating authority, required insurance, valid permits, qualified drivers, compliant equipment, accurate records, and all DOT, FMCSA, state, tax, and safety requirements that apply to its operation.

4. Broker and shipper communication

Carrier authorizes Best Truck Dispatch to communicate with brokers, shippers, receivers, factoring companies, and related parties for dispatch coordination. Carrier agrees to provide accurate documents and timely updates so dispatch communication remains professional and reliable.

5. Rates, payment, and dispatch service charges

Carrier understands that freight rates are subject to market conditions and broker approval. Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, Best Truck Dispatch service charges are 6% from gross load revenue for Power Only, Reefers, Dry Vans, Flatbeds, and Step Decks, and 8% from gross load revenue for Box Trucks and Hotshots. Gross load revenue means the total linehaul/load amount before deductions, advances, fuel, factoring charges, insurance, claims, accessorial adjustments, or other carrier expenses. Payment timing, invoice method, and any special billing arrangement may be confirmed separately in writing, invoice, service confirmation, or other written communication between carrier and Best Truck Dispatch.

6. Documents and confidentiality

Carrier agrees to provide documents needed for onboarding and dispatch support, including authority, insurance, tax, factoring, and broker setup documents when applicable. Best Truck Dispatch will use carrier information for onboarding, dispatch coordination, communication, and service administration.

7. Independent contractor relationship

Best Truck Dispatch provides dispatch support as an independent service provider. Nothing in this packet creates an employment, partnership, agency ownership, or motor-carrier responsibility transfer. Carrier remains the motor carrier responsible for transportation operations.

8. Accuracy and authorization

Carrier confirms that the information submitted is accurate to the best of its knowledge and authorizes Best Truck Dispatch to review the packet, contact the carrier, and begin onboarding preparation based on the submitted details.
